Teotihuacán "City of the Gods", is a beautiful archaeological site is located about an hour from Mexico City in the State of Mexico. The ancient city of Teotihuacan was one of the largest cities in Central America and the world of its time, founded about 150 BC and it is believed that the original inhabitants came from Totonac cultures, Nahuas or Otomi. Teotihuacan is one of the most important tourist attractions of the country being the archaeological site that receives more tourists to Mexico, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987.
