The historic center of Querétaro has been declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, taking a stroll through the beauty of its cobblestone streets and alleyways, you can discover magnificent architectural gems like the church and the convent of the Cross, the Temple of San Felipe Neri and the Temple of Santa Rosa de Viterbo, which are beautiful examples of Baroque architecture, as well as the Theater of the Republic and the old houses of the Plateresque style, now transformed into museums and Fine restaurants where you can indulge with regional, Mexican and international gastronomy.
The imposing arches of the city of Queretaro, are one of the most important hydraulic structures and were built in the colonial era, today are the proud symbol of the City, built in 1726 took nine years to complete , with its 74 arches built in pink stone with a maximum height of 23 meters, this aqueduct currently providing 10 public and 60 private fountains.
